Easter 2017 at Levuka

A great Easter weekend spent with old and new friends exploring and conquering the tracks of Levuka. The tracks were fairly dry however the 'boys' always seem to find a challenge.

The Jeep suffered some minor damage, the same cannot be said for Dave's Landcruiser. Thank goodness for insurance.

The kids had a great time exploring down to the Waterfall. We had not seen this before on our visits here. We will need to spend more time here next visit.

The fire works were amazing and damper cook off was a bit of fun.

The Easter Egg hunt went ahead eventually. Sometimes there is just too much fun to be had.

Flanagans Reserve - April 2017

This weekend didn't quite end up being what we had planned. Thanks to the rain brought to us by Cyclone Debbie South East Queensland had just experienced some major flooding. We origanlly had planned to spend the weekend at Moogerah Dam jetskiing. However due to the flooding the dam was closed to in-water activity so we headed to Flanagans Reserve for a much quieter weekend.

The river bank had suffered some damage from the flooding however the camp ground was still amazing. It was a little cold for the kids to swim.

Amanda practiced some gluten free damper recipes for the Easter Damper Cook off. They worked out amazingly. The kids had fun playing together and designing a sled for the dogs to pull so that they could collect sticks.

Woodgate 2016 - 2017

We have been looking forward to our annual trip to Woodgate for months so it was so nice to finally get there. It was a pity that Colin had to come home for a few more days at work but the kids and I made the most of it.

Another great family Christmas at Woodgate. We were all spoilt.

A big day on Boxing Day when we drove home to Brisbane for the Verhoeven Christmas get together. A fun day out.
