TeamBray spent 2 days exploring Jenolan Caves. Luckily TeacherMum had plenty of energy to climb over 1000 steps on the first day. Day 1 we walked over 900 steps through The Lucas Cave. Day 2 saw us take a shorter, yet more spectacular tour through The Orient.
Today we discovered that while both car batteries were doing fine with the fridge getting a workout, the van battery was copping a hiding. With the inverter working hard charging a range of cameras, i-devices and DS, we were getting low on power. Seems the car wasn't charging the van battery. All sorted after digging around inside the van plug and diverting power to charge the battery instead of run the van fridge. A long term fix required here when I get home.
Once again more wood was found on the side of the road. Tonight, we're having a big fire. Tomorrow's dilemma, we need to find water. Where do people find there water when on the road?

We woke up at Lake Lyell near Lithgow NSW. For $15 a night this place is a bargain. For $20 you get power but cannot have a camp fire so we opted for no power.
The kangaroos camp close by and gave the girls a huge fright one night as they walked through a bush track to the toilet.
Scenic Park was great fun and the kids really enjoyed it. Plenty of Japanese tourists - once again very keen to take pics of our kids. ActionDad came to the rescue when one Japanese lady lost her hat over a safety rail ... a nice easy rescue met by plenty of Japanese THANK YOUs. Was funny. It wasn't that scary .. just don't look down.
We were allowed to mount the GoPro on the front carriage of the soon-to-be-upgraded Scenic Railway. Will post that vid when we get home.
Luckily we bought the chainsaw as we found there is plenty of firewood on the sides of the road.
We woke up in Guyra to some nice views of a lagoon. Spent the day on a casual drive to Lake Lyell near Lithgow.
Setup camp for a few days by the Lake and will head to Katoomba in the morning.

TeamBray headed back to Janowen for a quiet weekend. Janowen was nice and quiet so we managed to get a great spot nice and quiet down near the water.
We had some new toys to play with this weekend. A nice new GoPro Hero2 thanks to ARB. We won their Video competition !!! Thanks to all those who voted :)
