Day 4 - 1st stop CSIRO

Fwd: Day 3 Gulgong to Canberra via Bathurst

Today we headed off from Gulgong and caught up with Kathy & Jason & the kids near Mudgee.

From Mudgee we headed toward Canberra via Bathurst .... for quick :( lap of Mount Panorama ... as you do.

We had lunch on top of the Mountain. The kids thought it was great sitting up on the concrete barrier right up at Skyline and eat their lunch.

We arrived in Canberra around 530pm in a very central Caravan Park - The Canberra motor village. Tomorrow we'll  head over to the War memorial.

The weather forecast is looking good for the next few days. So glad to have power and warm up inside the van.

Day 2 Glenn Innes to Gulgong

After sleeping in until 630am we headed off to Gulgong

We stopped so AB could pick some cotton

Day 1 - Home to Glenn Innes

We left home around 430pm leaving a very disappointed dog. She sat under the car or with her head in the door until the last of us got in. :(

Night 1 was a free stay in Glenn Innes without power or camp fire. 5 deg in the morning inside the van. That's ok. Canberra will be colder !!

A quick and easy breakfast and we're on our way to Gulgong.

June 2011 Canberra / Snow / Sydney Tour

1st Stop Gulgong to visit family

We then head toward Canberra via Mount Panorama for a quick lap

In Canberra we'll visit the National Museum, Australian War Memorial and 

Old Parliament House

From Canberra we are off to the snow - Mt Selwyn for a few days sliding down some slopes on a Toboggan

From the Snow we head toward Sydney via Gundagai

In Sydney we'll jump on a Ferry and head over to Taronga Zoo

The next day we hope to meet some friends and catch a Water taxi into Sydney and check out Darling Harbour

From Sydney we head to Windor Downs and Colo Heights to visit friends and family.

On the 1st day Amanda headed off to school. We had headed to Flanagans early to keep the great camping spot Geoff had left  for us.

After temps of -1 deg C being reported nearby ActionDad and ActionKids headed into Boonah to meet Julian of Boonah
