Once on the road we kept a look out for wildlife along the side of the road. A few Roos around but nothing to worry about.
We decided to stay at the Charleville Bush Caravan Park. It was a quaint sort of place mostly designed for the Gray Nomads (and there were plenty of them). We arrived early enough for the kids to go exploring in the bikes. A afternoon sing song around the campfire was an eye opener. We suddenly felt very young.
That night we went out to the Charleville Cosmos Centre to look at the stars through powerful telescopes. I think Colin was more amazed at the shed and how the roof opened up. We got to see some cool stars and planets and learned how to find the Warrior in the sky.
